Laptop Battle Tokyo #1
Laptop Battle sees a new breed of musicians battle it out to remain the last man standing in a contest of quick fire bouts and eliminations. Any style of music can be played and the crowd response influences the judges’ decisions. This event is popular in America, Canada and now in the UK and Germany.This summer, for the first time, Laptop Battle comes to Japan.
Contestants each have a few minutes to win over the crowd and convince the judges that they should be the one to go through to the next round. As battlers are eliminated, consequent rounds have longer bouts for battlers to show off their talent. The final round reveals the“king of the qwerty”. Anyone is welcome to register to take part in this event. To enter for this contest, musicians can visit the website and fill out the compete form. Contestants will be selected in order to make a varied an interesting event. Sponsors are donating merchandise for prizes including full software packages, hardware controllers and T-shirts.
